Every bespoke project begins with a personalized design consultation, where we'll discuss your vision, lifestyle, inspiration, and budget. Following our conversation, a design retainer reserves dedicated creative time for your project, including gemstone sourcing, concept development, sketches, and your bespoke design proposal.
How much does a bespoke piece cost?
Every bespoke commission is as unique as the story behind it, which means there isn't a single price for custom design. The final investment is influenced by the diamonds, gemstones, precious metal, and complexity of the piece.
Bespoke fine jewelry commissions typically begin around $3,000, while bespoke engagement rings begin at $5,000.
Whether you're creating an everyday heirloom or a once-in-a-lifetime engagement ring, we'll establish a comfortable investment from the very beginning so every design decision is made with intention.
Not sure where to start? That's completely normal. During your consultation, I'll walk you through different options and explain how various gemstones, metals, and design details influence the overall investment, helping you create something beautiful within your budget.
How long does the bespoke process take?
Every project is unique, though most bespoke commissions are completed within 12-16 weeks from inquiry to final delivery. If you're designing for a proposal, anniversary, or another meaningful occasion, I recommend beginning the process at least four months in advance whenever possible. The extra time allows for sourcing, revisions, and unexpected production delays.
HOW MUCH IS THE DESIGN RETAINER?
Every bespoke project begins with a non-refundable design retainer, which reserves dedicated creative time for your commission. The retainer amount is determined on a case-by-case basis depending on the scope of the project, anticipated design complexity, and any custom gemstone sourcing involved. Once we've discussed your vision during the initial consultation, I'll provide a clear proposal outlining the retainer before any design work begins.
Your Design Retainer allows me to dedicate the time needed to thoughtfully source gemstones, explore original concepts, and develop a design that's entirely your own.
Can I request changes throughout the design process?
Absolutely. Bespoke is a collaborative process, and thoughtful refinements are part of creating something truly personal. Your proposal includes three rounds of design revisions to ensure every detail feels just right while preserving a focused and intentional creative process.
What if I want to modify an existing design?
Many of our current designs listed on the website can be thoughtfully customized to better suit your preferences, whether that's changing the center stone, adjusting proportions, or refining certain design elements. Minor modifications are often straightforward, while more extensive changes may require a design development fee. If a project evolves beyond modifying an existing design, it may be better suited for our bespoke design process. Every request is reviewed individually, and any applicable design fees will always be discussed before work begins.
